Hello, my name is Cathy Collinson. I am trying to locate my husbands’ 2 grown daughters. His name is Joseph Collinson and he was married to their mother for almost 17 or 18 years. He was in the Air Force and stationed all over, but the main place was Las Vegas, NV (he was at Nellis AFB then). He was then sent to Moody AFB in Georgia, where he retired. His wife wanted to go back to Las Vegas, he wanted to raise the family in a quiet, peaceful rural area, she left and took the girls with her. He heard from them a couple times after that, but then his she changed her phone number and started sending the mail back unopened. The oldest is Sheila Kay Collinson, d/o/b 11/19 or 21/1978. She married Gilberto Hernandez in 1998 or 99. I think they still live in Las Vegas. Tammy Michelle was born 2 years later, Nov. either 19 or 21. I haven’t been able to find any trace of her. I have their soc sec numbers and some old photos. Their mother is Eddie Laura Collinson, and they have an older brother named Wendell (my husband adopted him, his last name is also Collinson). We just want to find out if they are okay and MAYBE form a relationship with them, IF THEY WANT TO. Please help us. Thank you and God bless.

My step mom was adopted as a baby and has always wanted to find her parents. She says she doesn’t have time and money to hire someone to find them but i think its just fear. She says when she is more settled she will find them. But i don’t want this time to keep going just in case something happens to her birth parents and she won’t have the chance to ever meet them or find out if she has brothers and sisters. Her adopted parents are almost 90 and my step mom is only 41 and an only child. My step mom has 1 child thats 11 and also wants to know who his grandparents are. What can i do? I would really need your help. She hates knowing once her adopted parents die she will be alone with no extended family. She has non. Please help me, i really want to do this for her.

I wasn’t adopted however I might as well have been. My parents were together for a short period of time and with that short relationship my mother became pregnant with me. My father never knew anything about me. He never knew I was his. My mom came back to her hometown to raise me with her family. I’ve searched my entire life for my dad. But I only know a few things about him. Someone once told me that my search was hopeless without a social security number. All I know is my fathers name and that he was lasted stationed at Fort Polk Louisiana in the United Sates Army. I know that my situation is unlike that of a child who was adopted but I know what it’s like to search forever and not find any hope. So I’m thankful that you have been able to find many birth parents for all these wonderful people. Keep up the good work!

Well I’m looking for my dad I have been for many years. I had an ok life the man I thought was my father was not which is ok he was just not a nice man he was a child molester. I did not find out that this man who did this to was not my real dad till I was 12. I was shocked and hurt, but just really wanted to find my real father, so I was hoping you could help me I have his name where he went to college and how old he is. Looking for my husbands father. From the beging he has been told that he belongs to this man. We found out last Friday that this man of 35 years is not his dad..threw a DNA test. To his mother shock..she finally told us the other mans name that she had been with. I have been on the computer and phone all weekend. And I have come up with nothing. My name is Suzi Bustamantez. I was born June 7, 1983 in Kansas City, Missouri I am trying to locate my birth mom or any birth relative. I was placed for adoption at Highlands Child Placement Services and at 8 weeks old I was adopted by a good Christian Family. I was only given non identifying about my birth parents. My birth mom was 19 at the time she gave birth to me. She had Reddish blonde hair, blue green eyes, 5’4″, 130 lbs, Irish descent, Fair complexion, considered herself to be catholic her mother had red hair. The birth father was 21 at the time of birth, blue eyes, light brown hair, 5’10″, German Descent, medium complexion, Catholic.
A retired Police Officer gave me a surname of Hughes from a Kansas City, Missouri birth index and that’s the only other possible thing I know but that isn’t a definite last name for sure. I have registered with all the registries nothing has come up. I just want my birth mom to know there are no hard feelings. I have come to know how hard it was for mothers to give up their children and some of the situations they have had it I am no longer mad about it but eager to learn more about you and my back ground. I was adopted in the state of KY in 1958. I know that I was born in Covington, KY at William Booth Memorial Hospita on October 3, 1956 at around 10:30 a.m. I required medical attention because of a hip that was not properly developed and required traction for six months. The name that appears on the summons for my adoption is Elizabeth Mary Lockhart. I think I may have been in foster care around my first birthday because of pictures my Mother has.

The people who adopt a baby can get a birth certificate with the baby’s new name on it and list the adoptive parents as the parents. It’s not a real birth certificate if you ask me. It seems like everyone should have the original birth certificate with the birth parents names listed on it. Otherwise it seems fake. No wonder people can’t find each other. There are some states opening up adoption records now so please check that out.
I am still trying to find the birth mother for a friend of mine. She was named Susan Lynn DiVito by her birth mother but her name was changed by the adoptive parents. She was born in Manhattan at Doctors Hospital in July, 1963. It’s possible the birth mother doesn’t want to be found because of circumstances. I suspect she would be in her 70′s now. Thank you.
My name is Rebecca. I was born June 7, 1980. My father’s name was Denis Caruso Regudon, but before I was born he had his name legally changed to Beck Regudon, dropping both his first and middle birth names as a result of his hatred for his father. I have not seen him or heard from him since 1983, when he and my mother divorced. The divorce was a result of child abuse on myself and my younger brother. I need to know if I have any other brothers, or sisters. I know I have an older half brother, Paul Richard, who last I heard was living in Montana. My mother had an open Child support case regarding my father until about 2006. My mother received a letter from the California Child support recovery department, stating that the case was being closed due to them learning he had passed. The last time I heard anything about him, he had remarried, to a woman named Collette, I believe. I have tried repeatedly over the last 12 years to find out if I indeed have any other siblings. Is there any way I can get some REAL help, for free???
I gave birth to a child on August 2, 1966. I saw Troy on Oprah’s program today and thought I might inquire about what it costs to go through your program. I have a great deal of information about the child that I received form the State of California. I know the parents’ birth dates but no names. My adopted child’s adoptive father was Russian, an only child, and worked for IBM for years, I presume in San Jose, CA. The mother was Mexican heritage with a large extended family and was a homemaker. There was a boy child adopted by them also in 1964. I named my daughter Alice Moreno (the last name was changed on her birth certificate by the nuns, I presume, or because they misinterpreted it, to Marina). I do not want this put on my google page, if possible. I had that happen at one point and it also went into my family’s google pages, so I hope to avoid that this time.
Yes, they can use a fake name on a birth certificate, we were looking for fake names for 20 years, but finally we found the birth mother. She wouldn’t tell us the father’s name so we have had DNA done and will have those results shortly.

Hello my name is Krystal. I was born on January 7th 1978 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City NY. I was adopted when I was 4 years old. I have tried to get medical information and everythign to find my birth parents but nothing ever works. I always feel as if things are getting pushed under a rug. I have no names as far as my bio parents go. The medical info i do have just says that my mother had mental problems, and there is nothing when it comes to my father.
I do know that my mother was 19 when she had me I also knwo that my father was a guitar player and my mother would take me to the bars to listen to him play when i was only days old until i got deathly ill and was placed back in the hospital where she then signed off on me and gave me up. I have questions that I need answered and I woudl love to meet my mother and father, and let them know that I had a good life and that i have 3 beautiful children of my own. Some one help me please. Randy has had 15 surgerys since 2004, he is getting ready for another major surgery, and has had a heavy heart about it. It is important to him to find his father, although he rarley speaks of him every fathers day I see the pain in his eyes. Randy is 34 years old and sick beyond his years. We have one child together and I have two of my own that he has raised since the oldest was 3 and my youngest was 1. He has always told me how important it was for him to be their father because he never had one. He was taken by social services from his biological mother when he was 6mos old. He was raised by other family members, and has always had unanswered questions reguarding his father. If any one can help me locate his father I know the hole in Randys heart would be filled.

Hello, my name is April Murray, I am 21 yrs old and I was born at cape regional hospital in cape may court house, new jersey and I am please asking to find my family. When I was two years old I was adopted into the Murray family and love them to death but when I turned 15 my life began to break. I felt as if I was standing on my own. My foster/ adoptive mother no longer gave me the love I needed. Hello, my name is Emma Derry. In my third foster home they changed my name from Pearline Hustus to Emma Bodnar. They took my identity from me.The womean was very abusive and I was molested by her family members.I did not know my father but my mom’s name was Barbara Hustus. I was born in 1949 and was taken from my mom when I was about 6 years old. I was born in Portsmouth, Va. My mom worked in a bar called The Red Rooster in Norfolk,Va. I have not seen any of my birth family since social services took me. My brother was adopted out with me but he remembers less than I do. I am crying as I write this note and feel so empty. I have no medical history or my original birth cert. Can you help me please? The woman who adopted me is no longer alive and I am not sure about her husband. The total sum knowledge I have about myself is that I was born February 15, 1964, in Tom’s River, NJ, and my given name was Ann Marie.
Lutheran Children Services in Cuyahoga County, Ohio (Cleveland) became my guardian probably in 1966, or 1967. My last foster family was in Lake County. My adoption was completed in 1969.
To my knowledge my birth mother did not actually sign the papers relinquishing her parental rights. If that is correct, I do not know.
The intent of my search is not to cause pain or discomfort or awaken dormant memories for my birth mother, but first and foremost to acquire medical information. I am open to the possibility of meeting but will not force the issue.

I am trying to help my mother in law find her son. She was 14 when she gave birth. All we know is that he was born on June 7, 1978 at wishard hospital in indianapolis, in. He was adopted but we have no names at all. The case was a closed adoption. She didn’t get to name him. Her name is Leah Johnson. Please help us find information on her son. She has never quit looking for him. She’s really sick and she’s only getting worse. She would love to meet her son. He also has a younger brother and sister who has been looking for him as well.

Then with all the counseling, I had to look at my life, and where it was going, and I realized I was going to be a single mother of 2. Well with talking to my parents. I came to realized that I would not be able to take care of both of them. So I did what I felt was best for him. I wanted him to have a mom and dad. I would not of been able to give him this.
Well while I was preg.,with him, I found I had cancer, as I have said before. I knew he was going to be the last child I would be able to have. Nowing this, was even harder on me. At the hospital I took care of him, while I was there.
I left the hospital with a heavy heart. He had a few more days at the hospital, I went to see him, at the foster home. He was so beautful. I love him so much.
I have tryed to find him, but I cant aford to pay to locate him. I am disabled,now and cannot work, so I am on ss. I am 49 years old. With the way my health is, I sit here every day, as I have since he was born. I find somedays I cry, because I miss him so much. As I am writing this, I fill the tears.
My daughter, when she was little,and went to school. She drew a picture of her family. She had us there, and she put her brother there too. The teacher wondered where he was at. It was very hard to tell the teacher.
I do not know how many years I have left. It could be a year to 30 years. God is the only one that knows. But I would love to see him again before I pass on. My daughter would love to see him as well, our hearts are so opened for him. This would truely make us a whole family. My daughter wants to find him as well, I have 3 grand-daughters. They are a bundle of joy. They also ask me of him. They ask where is uncle Mike?

I was born on April 27th 1964 in New Rochelle, NY. I was told that my mom was very young (around 15-16 years old) when she had me. She was forced to give me up in adoption.
I was also told that my father was a barber and much older than her.
I was born with the name Robert Failla, and then it changed to Robert Scialpi. I am not sure, but I believe the name Failla belong to my mom.
Please help me find my birth parents or at least my birth mom. I have wonderful adoptive parents but still have to know where I came from. Need to know if I have more siblings. Please help!!!

I am searching for my step brother, whom I love dearly & miss very much. I haven’t seen David since I was 11 and he was 10 yrs old, after his dad (my beloved Step father, C.B. Hamilton) passed away very suddenly and my mother remarried almost immediately.
His name is Frank David Hamilton, and his last known address was in St. Francisville, Louisiana. I’ve tried to find him but have had no luck.
He’d remember me as Misty. My mother’s name is Rita.
