I have the same problem. At 59 years old I find out that the person who is named on my birth certificate is not the right daddy. And I have positive proof of this also. All I know is that I was conceived in Willamantic, CT, May of 1951. My mother and anyone else that I know of is dead. Her name was Henrietta Bazala (Laffe). This is all that I have to go on.
Small world! I live in the next town over from where you were conceived, just happened on this site hoping to get advice in tracking my father’s birthfather. I only have a description from adoption records. May or may not be accurate. Birthmother just passed, only one sister of hers is living. Trying to pursue that.
For you I would maybe suggest your Mom’s friends from that period if still living, chatty aunt or uncle, or even priest or clergy. Do you have access to Mom’s photo’s of that time? Class yearbooks? Worst case sometimes things surface when cleaning out homes when family goes into a nursing home or pass. Patience is hard. I wish you luck.

Hi I am looking for my fathers family for him, my dad is turning 80 in March, I was adopted by he and my mother, I have since found my birth mother and have info on my birth father but I would like to find my adoptive fathers siblings and possible children. He is from Puerto Rico and we have his birth certificate that has his birth parents name, I’m thinking maybe through the birth records we can find his siblings or children if all possible, what direction should I take?
My father’s name is Israel Leon Santiago, his mothers name is/was Ana Leon and his fathers name is/was Otilio Santiago from Ponce’ Puerto Rico. I have been looking for my dad coutless times, and it’s frustrating having little info. There isn’t much I can do. I grew up in a fantacy were I would say my birth father was dead because it seem easier than having to explain. I would wonder why isn’t he looking for me, and if he is why hasn’t he found me. At the same time I was afraid of finding him and him not being a decent person. I realized his characteristics are what matter less. I just want to be able to see his face. Well I’m 15 looking for my dad :// Ive always wanted to meet him but I never had the guts to tell my mom. Because she told him she was pregnant and the next morning when she woke up he was gone. My name is Eileen. I have never done this before, but I am fed up with my mother not telling me who my father is. I have no clue if this will help or not, but I don’t know of any other things I can do to possibly get that information. I’ve known my whole life that I don’t know my father. I am 20 years old. I grew up not knowing the guy, but only knowing my siblings. Not too good of a feeling to have. I feel that I have a part of me missing entirely. I just would like to know if there is a way for me to get that piece filled. So I guess that this is kind of a way for me to hope that it is possible for me to know. I do really want to find my actual father. I want to get to know him. I want to meet my other half of the family, or see if I do have another half. I would greatly appreciate it. If there is nothing, then I thank for the little chance that I’d get.

My moms name is Audrey. The man I believe to be my father, his name is Rusty Lobo (last name could be spelled differently) he is approximately 70ish years old (give or take). He lived around the 290 & Bellaire area in Houston, Tx in the early 80′s. He owned his own company (possibly construction). He had a dog named Barney (my mom believes it was a cocker spaniel). Hello I’m Samantha, but everyone calls me Sammy. It’s been a life long search for my birth father. I don’t know much about him to be honest. I know his name Mark McKnight and that back in 1990 he was 19 yrs old and lived in Brandon Florida. My mom has told me a little, but has said she didn’t know much more except that he was her “knight and shinning armor.” I know that after Mark found out my mother was pregnant, he tried finding my mother and called my grandparents too. At that point though, my mother had my brother and moved. My mom said that in 1990 he lived in the same apartment complex as her and was 19 yrs old, he was going to school to be a pilot or so my mom’s said. Hello, I’m trying to help one of my brothers (Randy) find his Birth father. Our mother has been married 3 times. I’m 2nd oldest of the 8 of us, her first marriage she had my older brother & I, her 2nd she had randy & another brother, & her 3rd she had our 4 sisters. We later found out that her 2nd husband is not Randys dad, I found out when I was 9 that her 2nd husband was not my dad either and she told me who he was and I was in contact with him over the years until he passed away. and I was also reunited with his son(whom I haven’t seen in 25 yrs) just this past weekend. Randy saw the pics and started to question it again. Randy is 34 yrs old and has NEVER known his dad all because our mother won’t own up to what/who the possibilities are. Her 3rd husband has mentioned a name but she won’t admit to it or anything she says he’s lying, but for me knowing what I know & how it feels to grow up without your father around I don’t want to see Randy hurt anymore. Randy has always said “I don’t look like y’all, I’m different” I’m trying to find out how to help him “fill that void” and KNOW who he is and where he came from. If you have any ideas that you can send my way I will gladly take them. I’m also sure that you will probably advise that he asks our mom about it but that won’t happen because she won’t tell him anything plus Randy won’t argue with her about it either so that is why I want to help him find he biological father. Hi, I was born in Stockbridge, MI on March 13, 1944. I just found out the name on my birth certificate is not my biological father. My mother’s name is Venius, and she is not willing to give me the correct information. No other family members seem to know anything. Venius is from Jackson, MI. I have been looking for my GI father for years. He was over in England between 44/46 – my mother was called Janet Davies and all I know is that my father was Greek American and was called Chris. Not much to go on but anyone reading this may know someone who might have known him or his children. I heard he had two sons but don’t know if this is true. My birth mother died 3 years ago before I found her so this is my last chance. My birth name was Terence Davies.
Hoping someone can help me. I am helping my partner to try and trace his birth father. We are planning to get married and he would love his father to be there.
My partner is called Douglas William Crawford MacQuarrie and is 30years old, born in Glasgow, Scotland. His Mother’s name was Margaret (maiden name Owens). She married his father in England before moving to America with him. However she returned to Scotland alone before long. They stayed in touch for some time, but never reunited. My partner has never met his father, although he was born within a year of his parents marriage and his father knew about him.
Since his mother died, he has very little information about his father. Only what is on his birth certificate and what his aunty can remember.
His father’ name is Douglas Herrick MacQuarrie. He will be about 49-52 years old. He was an American citizen, serving in the US airforce when they married in 1980-81. It is thought he lived or was based in either Texas or Colorado.

I am just getting ready to turn 50 years old,and my parents have come to decide that now is the right time to tell me that my biological father is not my “Dad”. I’m really not sure what to make of this. Other than, I always knew “I was different”. Through my teenage years, this and other “little things” were a big deal. I am looking for someone I believe is named John Fink, with a nickname of Jack. He was stationed around Chicago, and dated Sarah Wingate in 1991, and broke up soon after I was concieved. Sarah was an ET at the time, which leads me to think that so was he. He would have known a Wayne Jaffeux. My mom says he was probably Finnish (though she wasn’t sure.) Hi I just recently got interested in looking for my birth father. All I know is my birth mother, who I do have contact with, got pregnant on a camping trip. She lived in ,and still does, lives in Anaheim. She apparently did drugs when she was young and doesnt remember who my dad is, or my older sisters. I’m trying to locate my biological father. I believe his name is Thomas Clevenger and was a cook in the US army and stationed in Korea around 1965-1966; I was born in Feb. 1967 and he had already left Korea at that time. My mother’s name was Nam Sun Kuk. If I’m not mistaken he was close to retirement at that time so his age could be between 80-85, maybe older. I would like to know who I came from, if there’s any siblings, which I believe there is. I don’t want to cause any problems or bring up old wounds, I just need to know.
