Hi, I am trying to find my birthfather. I was adopted when I was 8wks old from a Jewish adoption agency. My birth father is Jewish and my birth mother is Chaldean. They were both juniors in high school when I was born. This is about all the information I have of them. I tried to contact my birth mother when I was 17 or 18 years old but because of certain circumstances she could not have anything to do with me. Now that I am going to be 30 years old I would like to try and contact my birth father and face the fear of denial I have had for all of these years.
I’d like to find my birth parents.

I found my birthmother 7 years ago, she told me that my birthfathers name is Mark Petrie and that he lived in San Carlos, CA or Belmont, CA around 1974, said that his parents hated her and that he was thinking about koining the military. She refused me and other info and may have lied about everything. She never told him she was pregnant.
He was born 1956 or before.
I have a picture…not that it does any good.

I’m looking for a girl born July 21, 1965 in Burlington, VT. Her birth mom named her Darlene Miller. The birth mom remembers hearing a baby cry and when asked to see the child the hospital told her the baby was still born. She never got to see the baby. The biological father signed papers and he doesn’t know what they were or can he answer any question for he passed away 8 years ago. The local city hall has record of 2 births that day 1 boy and 1 girl and the girl was adopted. Birth mom has no death certificate and the doctors office burnt to the ground 1 year later along with all records. Birth mom heard a lot of stories about the doctor selling babies after this all happenend. Birth mom had a son 1 year later and the doctor tried to tell her this was her first child when she knew it was her second.

Unfortunately, there is no quick way to determine if your brother was adopted out, and in this particular instance, there is not much search advice we can give you to conduct a search on your own. Why? Because you have no information about the circumstances of the adoption and are not even certain that your brother was indeed adopted.
However, a search of this type can definitely be successfully completed. Here’s how our parent company, OmniTrace, would approach this…
We have a source / researcher in Ohio who has the capability of searching for original birth records. Once she locates your brother’s original record, she can use information off the original records to locate your brother’s amended record / adopted record. Then she would provide us your birth brother’s adopted name and information on the adoptive parents and a search of our databases would do the rest.
One caveat, if your birth brother was not legally adopted, there may not be an amended record of him. Then the chance of locating him would greatly decrease (since we don’t have a date of birth).

I am searching for my birth parents and a sibling who may be a twin or an older sibling. I was born at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago on April 10, 1952. My mother is listed as 25 years old at the time of my birth. So she would have been born in 1926 or 1927. There was one other living child listed on the non-identifying info from my original birth certificate. I was born as Carmeline Hadsall. My birth mother’s name is Geraldine Hadsall. I was placed for adoption through an attorney’s office in Wheaton, IL. The adoption notice was placed in the DuPage County Illinois newspapers. There is no information on the birth father. Also no clear info on whether my birth mother was married, single or divorced or widowed. Have searched many geneology records and have obtained some adoption records, but still cannot find sibling or birth mother. Please help. My adopted parents are deceased and I have NO FAMILY. I was born February 7, 1957 in Montgomery County Maryland and was
put up for adoption as a very young child age 5 to 6 (?)
My adoptive family also lived in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County Health Department took care of the adoption. I had checked with them back in the early 80’s but they would not give me any information concerning my birth parents. MCHD told me that my birth family had not contact them since I was adopted.
I think my father and perhaps some of the other men in my family worked for the fire department (maybe in Tacoma Park).

Do you know the names of any of his family members? Any other information that you have on him, no matter how insignifcant it might be, could help us here.

The date of birth of your birth mother (12/1/1941) you supplied us does not add up if you were born on 4/1/1963 and your birth mother was 20 at the time. That would make her year of birth: 1942.
Can you please verify the information you provided us? Do you have any idea the years she was in Florida?
