I must make a change to the hospital I was born in. I just found my Birth Certificate and it says Akron City Hospital. Along with that, I have found other info on the certificate that may be helpful. I really hope someone can help me with all of this.

I am really nervous about doing this but I feel that the time has come to find out some answers. My sister and I were adopted by a wonderful married couple who had two children of their own. I believe this adoption took place in 1981-1982. I was almost 3 years old at the time and my sister was 18 months old at the time. My parents now have only given me a little bit of information about my birth parents. My biological father was about 5’8″-5’9″ tall and had brown hair and blue eyes. My parents now say that I look like him. My biological mother was short, about 5’3-5’4″ tall and was a heavier set woman with brown eyes. I was also told that my biological mother took off and left my sister and I with our biological father. He kept a job trying to support us but wasn’t able to do it any longer. I know this is all a vague description but in my eyes its a start.

I am 29 years old now. My birthday is December 6, 1978. I was born in Akron, Ohio @ Akron general Hospital. My sister is 27 and her Birthday is October 25, 1980, also born at Akron General Hosptial. I don’t know if our names were changed in the adoption process. However, our names were after the adoption Christine Elaine Verble and Cynthia Dawn Verble.

The main reason I’m trying to find out information, is because I have two beautiful little girls of my own and a son on the way. I want to know about health issues and to find out what happened to my birth father.

As I type this, I’m in tears because I know nothing of my birth except of a birth certificate that has my adopted parents’ name on it. I hope that someone will help me out in searching for my biological father.

Great news! I spoke with my mom, brother, and sister all in one day on 4/27/08. I’m so very excited. They only live an hour away from me, and i found out my sister is pregnant. I’m so thankful for all your help. You do a great job at reuniting lost families. If I ever hear of someone searching for lost family, i will most definataly recommend you!!! GREAT THANKS, Charles

Just wanted to say thank you for all the speedy help we received. We had just missed charles’ mom by a few weeks, she had moved. We have now decided to post some flyers in the area where she seems to frequent, with all the addresses given from your company. This is definataly a great website for lost family memebers to use to relocate them. Thanks again for all the help
